Randolph Hostel Room 203

So bad we left on arrival and got a better hotel same day. Positive: Nothing Negative: Bad rooms, no extras, bathroom was the same. Horrible steps getting to the room.

Absolutely awesome place Positive: can’t say enough good things about The Randolph Hotel in Fox Lake! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The location is absolutely perfect — right on the water with gorgeous views of the Chain O’ Lakes. The historic charm of the building gives it so much character, and the fact that it has its own on-site brewery is such a unique bonus! Negative: Nothing it’s great!

We stayed 5 minute and left. It was disgusting. Positive: Nothing Negative: This property is false advertising. This property was nothing like was posted on their website. We stayed 5 minutes and left and went elsewhere. This place was dirty. Dirty pillows, missing light bulbs, large bug crawling on the floor. A college dorm room would be a lot bigger than this. No bathroom in the room. No one on staff there. Everything has to be done by email. I expect a full refund. This place is a dump!

An OLD, tragically outdated sh!thole Positive: Outside is a beautiful view of Nippersink Lake Negative: Inside, it's a rundown old building with my single room the size of closet. One public shared bathroom to possibly catch any number of diseases. Missing light bulbs, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, floors were chipped and dirty, and part of the wall peeling off above the heat register. It was such a sh!thole I spent exactly 5 minutes there. Enough time to take pictures of the room that I will be sharing online and got the hell out of there!

Positive: Was a little saddened because my first stay I had a TV microwave and fridge in my room. This stay i did not have any of those in my room Other than that my stay was good Unfortunately I had a family emergency and only stayed 3 of the 7 days
